It's crazy the amount of conflicting information in this hobby. Two of my LFS have a combined 50 years of experience. And both say completely differed things about feeding. I had algae problems cyano, diatoms and hair. And feeding less seems to help
i feed twice a day (once frozen once seaweed on a clip) and im being told to feed less because my phosphates are super high. Some people feed 6 times a day. No justice i tell ya...:twitch:
On weekends my fish stay in the left corner of my tank begging for food so they get fed 4 to 5 times a day. During the week they graze the tank naturally until I get home and get fed once or maybe twice a night. It is amazing when I come home during the week I will sneak in and observe them grazing which I wish they did more of when I am in the room, and I also watch for aggression. Of course once one fish notices me the grazing stops and everyone goes to the left side of the tank like they are starving Marvins.
