How often do you feed your hard corals?

I just added a small acro and a medium sized monti to my softs and small aro frags. I have been feeding them 2 caps of DT's and 2 caps of marine snow. Should increase the amount or frequency or leave it alone?

all i have found with the DT's is that i would have to clean my glass more often...i have never tried the marine snow.... i just rely on strong lights...feed the fish....and have been using prodibio....but thats a whole diffrent can of worms

i am thinking about trying out the tropic marine essential elemets both K and A......always something new to try i guess

hey charlie,
I read a little about that on Iwan's thread. What do you think about the prodibio? Have you had the same results?

I am a big fan of DTs. Now, I have NO idea if dumping it in my tank is actually accomplishing anything. I would think, however, that the marine snow is useless, or worse then useless as it is just dead stuff that is going to degrade in your tank.

I may be wrong, though...

i started after reading about Iwan results...i was trying everything i could to get the acros colored up like they use to be before i went to the barebottm....they have started to color back up but i have also added sand back in so its hard to say which one has helped the most.....i will keep using it until my supply runs out..around another 3 months then make my final prodibio judgement.....i can say one thing for sure that after i add the reefbooster the polyps go nuts....the other additives are just bacteria and bacteria food so it cant hurt

it is kinda like zeovit but without the reactor.....you add bacteria's to bring the nitrate, nitrite, and phospate levels down to zero and then add a food back..ammino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, carotenoids that the stony corals need/want
it is kinda new in the US but not quite as conterversial as zeovit

i am a huge fan of all the tropic marine products, as charlie mentioned. They have an awesome Pro Mineral, and thier elements. Dont know the science behind it. But everytime I read an awesome tank success story. that name is dropped at least once.

i always get mine from thatfishplace. I am about to try the pro coral type a and type k. I just spent like 2 hours reading a thread about this product

i think charlie was tossing this idea as well

that fish place said they have discontinued the A they still have the K but i had to find the A elsewhere......you might try AquariumGuys.com i found its pretty hard to find these addatives here in the US
