How Quickly Does Diploastrea Grow?

Bought a Diploastrea frag from lfs and was wondering how quickly they grow. I know they should b treated like Favias. It's currently on the sand bed under 165 watt leds. It really likes the leds. I feed it a plankton and brine shrimp cocktail.

They're fairly slow, similar to growth rates on many "favias" (which can be considerably different from one another, but overall 'slow'). Diploastrea spp. will accept larger food like P.E. Mysis which will increase growth rate compared to smaller food items.

They're a great, underrated coral. Enjoy
