How soon to add rotifers to new hatch?

My maroon clown eggs should hatch this eve. When should I add rotifers, should they be in the tank before the eggs hatch, right when they hatch, or later?
Thanks.
How do you rinse the rotifers out of the strianer into the tank ?

I usually wait to add rots until the morning after the hatch (for all clowns). Someone here in the FBF suggested it to me, and it has always worked fine. Not sure if this will apply to others, but my maroon pairs' larvae seem to prefer fairly dense rotifer concentrations.

Just hold the rot. strainer upside-down over the larval tank and use a pipette with some larval tank water to squirt them off the strainer. HTH and good luck!

You can add them the day before if your laraval tank is setup. Even better you can add them a few days before and let the rots stabilize and grow. Then your larave are sure to have lots to eat.

Sounds like it doesnt matter, either before they hatch or they next morning after they hatch.
Thanks

Not sure, but if the eggs don't hatch when you expect them to, they may get a fungus on them. Chances increase the more non-sterile things you do to the tank. Adding rots ahead of time, is definately non-sterile. If it were me, I would wait until they hatch. Next morning.
