How take good night shots of tank?

i just took a picture of my tank with no flash, rest of the lights off.

if not try turning the ISO to 800.
 
You need a much longer exposure. I wouldn't jack up the ISO, that will just make it grainy. Try 20 to 30 seconds with ISO 200. Remember to turn flow off, so the polyps aren't all blurry.
 
You forgot to turn off the flow? That would really improve things!!
Looooong shutter speeds, low ISO, wide aperture, steady tripod, mirror lockup (don't know if you can do that).
Basically keep the camera and the subject as still as possibly possible and keep the shutter open as long as you need.
High ISO speeds will be really harsh with that camera. You are really into SLR territory but don't have an SLR. I hate to say it but your equipment just isn't up to par for the quality you are shooting for.
