How to attach a Yuma??

I have a Yuma that I was given about 3 weeks ago. I tried mounting it to a piece of rubble using super glue gel. I stuck well for about 3 or 4 hours and came loose leaving a layer of slime attached to the super glue. Tried that technique 3 different times. Same result each time.

I tried laying it loose in a dish on coarse aragonite. Sat there for 2 weeks and appeared to be doing well, but not really extending fully. Floated out of the dish finally.

Today, I tied it to a piece of rubble using sewing thread. So far so good. What do others use to mount these slippery little devils?

Some use loosely fitted mesh to hold it to a rock and wait a week or two. I have had some sucess positioning them between two small rocks and with the crushed argonite in a cup method noted. Glue won't work on corallimorphians like it does on Zonathus since they put out a slime at the base.

Yep. No glue.

Drop it in a small glass dish on a flat piece of rubble rock.
Cover it with something like mesh so it doesn't blow away.
Give it 2 days.

Done. (usually)
