hi i would like to now how to breed angelfish like what hatchlings eat and info and websites and what angalfish are easyest to keep and ect. mike

1. They're haremic hermaphrodites in general, males being the dominant fish (just like wrasses).

2. They are pelagic spawners, eggs are small.

3. Eggs likely hatch quickly - 24-48 hours

4. First foods are pretty much copepod nauplii, specifically calanoid copepod nauplii. Pretty tough larvae to raise. Check out RCT ( http://www.rcthawaii.com ) - as far as I know Frank is the only one breeding Centropyge commercially. There are also pond-cultured large angelfish (i.e. Maculosus) coming out of Taiwan (I think that's where they're doing them...)

FWIW,

Matt
