I have heard to put a shrimp in a pannyhose and leave it there. They say that the matis shrimp get caught in the pannyhose netting tryign to eat the shrimp

Never put pantyhose in your tank. They have harsh chemicals in them that will kill your tank. why not an unused filter bag?
