I have a hawkfish in my reef tank that I'd like to get out. He's to aggressive now and perches on coral instead of rock.
Problem is he's wicked fast.
Any ideas on how to catch him without deconstructing my rockwork. He's pretty small, Maybe 2".
I used a piece of 1/4" plexiglass and some food and trapped mine in the corner where I could net him easier. It took some patience cause like Steve said their smart but just like any fish their crazy for food. It may help to leave the plex in there for a day and let him get used to it.
