how to chose pump

"recomended" pump for my filter is CAP1800 or CAP2200
one is 476 gallons per hour 29 watts the other one is 581 gallons per hour 33 watts. How do I know which one I should get?

What filter is it?

Most likely, either will be fine. I would personally go with the bigger one (more filtered water per hour.. which is true to some extent).
