How To Create a Mushroom Rock?

I have a few mushrooms that I acquired from my LFS, however I have been having a hard time adhering the small rubble they are attached to to a some live rock. I am using marineland's aquarium putty.

My question is, how can I attach all my mushrooms to one rock? Do I have to find a way to glue the rubble they are already attached to or can I somehow get them to attach their mouths directly to the actual large live rock piece (about 5 inches in diam)? Is this achieved by netting them onto it?

Also, what works best to adhere them? The marineland putty is not very good IMO . .

Here's a picture of one of em for you guys to enjoy :)

Thanks Everyone!

They are to slimy to glue directly, if they have attached to rubble or sand, you can superglue gel them to the rock and they may stick if placed in low flow area. Otherwise place them on a rock and net them with wedding veil to keep them from blowing away until they can attach a foot to the rock. Their mouth is on top facing opposite the rock.

you don't have to go thru all that netting hassle, just place or lightly glue the rubble on the rock so it wont fall off, the mushrooms should attach themseves to the rock in about a week.

the thing is, when i get them to attach, a week or so after, they begin to detatch and start finding their own little place in the tank

mushrooms normally don't like high flow and high light, so they will detach from the rock to get to low flow area. If you keep them at low light and low flow area, they tend to have bigger polyps
