How to create a wave in a 180

Hey guys,

I have a 180gallon 6x2x2. The picture is attached except now I have 2x6105 pumps and a 6095 (if i need it) instead of the vortechs. I also have the multicontroller 7096.

I am trying to get flow in this tank. I cannot seem to properly "set" the controller to have a wave going. Please help me (it seems I cannot run the pumps any lower than 30% using the controller also, not sure if I can go from 0 to 100). Basically I am trying to do a set up where I am moving water in the tank in a wave.
(I also have a wavebox but I would prefer to not have to use it if I dont have to.

Place them exactly as you have the Vortechs in the picture. Set the two pumps up on sockets 3 and 4 of the 7096 and select wavemode and inverse so they run opposite of each other, use autotune to find the wave frequency.
