How To Cut Acrylic?

Use afire tooth jigsaw. If it has adjustable rpm, you dial it in to make it easy. Otherwise, don't go too slow (you'll melt) or too fast (you'll melt) doma couple test cuts to get the hang of it. You'll need to sand those edge pretty good if you are wanting to use Weldon 3 (the cleanest looking bond). A table saw will usually cut cleaner edges.

olfa makes a knife for plastic cutting, as opposed to just scoring the plastic, it actually takes small strips out of the plastic when used. Even on 1/4" acrylic this is the best tool I have ever used compared to saws or knives. It gives a perfectly clean and adhere-able edge without cleanup.

this is the one I have, its 12.99 at home depot in canada.

If it is just baffles for a sump then then the silicone will hold the acrylic.
I've heard the same thing from a few people.
Thanks for clearing up the silicone question, I didn't want to see Danzig waste his time and money

The utility knife works, its just sloppy and is alot of work, it was worth it though. I don't see the point in buying a tool im only going to use once anyways.

I'd go back to Lowes and have them cut it to size for you...they cut mine for free ;)
