How to detach an RBTA

My RBTA has split for a second time in 8 months, and I now have three. I want to take one of them back to my LFS. How do I go about removing the RBTA from the rock without hurting or damaging it?

Thanks
Matteo

one good way to get it to detach is to aim a powerhead right at its base. They will usually let go fairly easily and fast. Another way that I have heard works well is to take an ice cube in a zip lock bag or plastic wrap and edge it under the foot of the bta. should let go of the rock
