How to dip new corals? Acclimate first then dip or dip first then acclimate? I have never done it. Plan to used fluke tabs and Tropic Marin Pro Cure. How much per gallon of seawater for each? Add both at the same time fluke tabs and TMPC? THANKS,

I acclimate using the drip method.

Pretty standard.
I've used TMPCC but its harsh on sps.
Now I dose - nonspecific 3/4 half a pill of interceptor and 2 tabs of fluke tabs(big als) for about 3-6 hrs. Sometimes when acclimating big colonies I throw in a PH. 5 gal bucket.

Recently started using the revive product for about 15 mins after the previous dip, and inspect(mag glass).

If u have the time and the patience remove the acros from the maricultured base and attach to new base.

best possible way is qt tank but not practical for me.
perhaps if I do upgrade again I'll have both tanks going at the same time and will dip prior to transfer.

Even doing all of this I've gotten nudis in this tank.

On previous tanks I've had rb's and AEFW.
Just comes with the territory I guess.

The best advise possible is dip dip dip always.
