how to distinguish between am and pm

trying to set up timers and trying to figure this out. is the clock on a 12 hour time scale or 24 hour time scale?

when you click new under timers a switch point screen comes up and in that you have two option AM or PM choose which one you want

im not seeing that option. is it possible i have a different version firmware? im almost positive that on startup my unit said version 4.02 which i see is outdated

In the meantiem update the firmware and software, but please follow the instructions on doing this EXACTLY to the letter as per the manual!
