How to drill a tank?

Im looking to drill a 40 gallon breeder....a 3/4" hole to be exact. Ive never drilled a tank before and im looking for advice on how to go about it and a detailed list on what i would need to do it correctly. If anyone can post a link on where to get the hole saw i need that would be appreciated also. Thanks for any help and advice in advance.
