How to feed my foxface rabbitfish

I have been feeding my foxface nori and spirulina. My question is, should I always have some nori on the clip for him/her to munch on and then feed the spirulina once a day or so. I don't want to overfeed. There isn't much hair agae in the tank now for him/her to pick off the rocks. I do have a bryopsis problem that I am addressing (what a PITA) and the foxface doesn't touch the stuff. I tried not feeding him/her at all and he/she almost starved!

You could just alternate between the two. I don't think it really matters which one you're feeding as long as the fish is getting some algae in his diet. If overfeeding is the concern, I would probably just use the clip and let the fish graze whenever it wants to. I think I used a 3x3 section on a clip back when I had a foxface.

keep some food available most of the time like tangs they are grazers taking nibbbles here and there. Though know that unless a nucsance algea tastes better than what you are feeding you'll have a hard time getting it to "take care of the problem" leaving the clip empty every once in a while won't harm anything.
