How to Feed Reclusive Fish?

Last week I ordered a banded longfin Basslet from divers den. When he arrived, he seemed very stressed. He's in a biocube 29 with a clown fish and chromis. The only time Ive seen him was the day I put him in the tank. Now I know these fish are very reclusive and it's probably normal that I haven't seen him, but is there something I need to do to make sure he is eating? What's the best way to feed him if he won't come out to eat? Any suggestions?

A biocube is small enough to use a simple turkey baster to target feed. Do it at the same time you feed the other fish to prevent them from stealing his food. It may help to turn off the powerheads too to keep the food from blowing around.

Put it in a quarantine tank and keep it there until it is feeding like a pig.
