How to feed

What is the best way to feed frozen food to fish. How do you guys thaw it so you loose the bad nutrient buildup on the food? Also, any advice on what to feed would be great. (gobies, tangs mostly)

Thaw the food in a little RO/DI water and drain the water off before you put the food in the tank. You should get some Nori from your local asian market for the tangs. I can get 100 sheets for under 10 bucks around here. I'd feed them daily. ;)

what he said :D

Check the labels on the nori, make sure there are no additives, but it is an awesome, and dirt cheap food, which tangs love. I usually feed a 1/4 sheet daily here. I just fold it up till it is about 1" x 1/2" and clamp it in a veggie clip (suction cup clip) and stick it on the glass of the tank. The tang can then munch at his (her?) liesure throughout the day
