How to fool a clown?

you can try either one, but it will still be up to the clown on when if ever it will hoast an anemone. some clowns take days, others monthes and others never do.

Also keep in mind that certain pairs of anemones and clownfish species don't work in nature. for example, tomato clowns often host in BTAs in nature but percs don't.

'yes am a aware of that, my female has been paying much attention to my anemone, but doens´t quite host it, just nibbles around it, she stays close to the anemone all the time, good sign?

draleigh, you have a 180 gallon tank and they host on a powerhead? That is just to funny! I almost wet my pants imagining that one. Is there any way you can post a picture of them next time they do it? God of Thunder I don't no if something is wrong with my computer or yours but I only saw one picture with clowns hosting! The second site. The third site bought me to a site selling pigs and piglets! I really think its hit or miss as to them hosting or a certain anemone! It stinks when you want to make THEM HAPPY, and they just don't want to cooperate with us :( Well good luck and Happy Holidays!!!
