How to frag a Green Star Polyp

Insane in the Brain
My green star polyp has been doing very well since introduced into my tank back in January. So well, that I would like to trim it a little bit.

How do I go about fragging this coral? This is going to be my first attempt at fragging a coral. Is it fairly straight forward?

yup, as straight as it gets.

find a loose corner and tear it off.

dry the bottom of the mat and superglue (gel) it to a new (dry) rock.

Second what RicksReef said. GSP was my first coral almost a decade ago and tearing flaps was the easiest way for me to pull frags. There was mat underneath the parts I tore off in most places, which soon after opened up so you couldn't even tell I had just pulled 10 frags;).

Same here, I just tore off the corner to keep it a nice oval shape that surrounds the rock. Each time it tries to get away from the rock, I just let it know whos boss!

I'll resurrect my own thread....

I just fragged my green star polyp again. I do have a piece that went onto an adjoining piece of live rock. I did try to peel it off the rock, but was unsuccessful. Any suggestions as to how to get it off the rock with out having to pull the rock out of the tank to peel it off?
