You can slice off limbs with a clean razor, or use a plastic zip tie, snug it around the branch you want to frag, and tighten it a few clicks every day.
Eventually the branch will pinch and fall off on it's own.
Just be sure to put in fresh carbon, etc if you frag in tank.
