How to frag Zoos???

Anyone have a good book/website/resource(s) on how to frag mushroom corals (rics/palys/Zoos)?

try doing a search in the zoanthid forums. I'm sure there has been a post or two there about fragging them.

zoas and paly's i just tear off the rocks and glue them to a new one..wear gloves and glasses to prevent personal injury...i end up tearing off a good size piece then cutting up with scissors and glueing patches to rubble...if your looking to only get one or two polyps per frag then you are going to have to be very careful pulling them of the mother colony..small pointy sharp scissors will help..you can also break the mother colony apart with a hammer and chisel or flat head screw driver...once the rock is shattered you should be able to easily pull the loose polyps off, and glue them wherever you want..

rics i think can be cut in half...but i wouldn't go as far as quartering themlike you can with pimple and hairy mushrooms.....my floridas seem to be fragging themselves lately
