How to get clown to host?

I have a false perc that has hosted with a hammer coral. I have since added a RBTA. Is there a good way to get the fish to start hosting in the RBTA?

.....usually just let time.....but sadly enough some false's wont..i found that i taped a picture of a clown on the side of the tank for a day and blaam my clown was hosting in my RBTA.....

If your clown is already being hosted by something (the hammer coral) then it should move to the RBTA soon I would think.

What seems to help some people is to aim the food right onto the anemone when you feed the tank (with a turkey baster). Do this daily and it will help the clown 'notice' it. After that it shouldn't take that much longer.

BTA's are not a natural host for false perc. clowns, i've had them in a tank together for 3 years and my clowns have hosted everything but the anemones.

And just FYI, clowns arnt hosting, its the anemone.

Apparently, people have had luck with taping a pic of a clown being hosted by an anemone on their glass....if my clowns dont go in within a week or two when I get a nem I probably will try that bc for some reason it seems to work....theres also netting the clowns and making them touch (or you can chase them into it) and that almost always works
