So my male clown jumped tank and I found him on the floor the next day all dried up. A bummer, but now I plan on getting a snowflake male for the female. She's pretty big, so I'll just make sure the one I get is smaller.
Anyways, she hosts the powerhead in the right corner of the tank, and that is the only spot in my tank that isn't covered, which is how the male jumped out and died. Once I get the new male and he goes through the QT stage ok, I want to get the female out of my tank and put her in the QT tank with the male. I'm hoping that after they are in there a while and I reintroduce them to the DT that they won't host the powerhead anymore. Do you think that will work or will they just go to the same spot again?
I don't have a anemone in my tank, but I am in the process of a 150 gallon build right now. It won't be ready for a few more months though, but I thought about getting an anemone for the 150 to see if the clowns will host it. Is it hard to get them to host an anemone after they decided to host something else like a powerhead?
