i found this picture from zoaid.com its really small. is their a fish or shrimp that will eat these...

Take a flashlight and pick them off at night. There is a dip you can do to kill them. Not sure what eats them tho.

those are not egg sacks on their backs those are just lobes that grow there to make them look more like the zoa they are eating. They will even change color depending on which zoa they are inhabiting. The egg are a tiny white rams horn shape usually on the zoa stalk. now a flshlight will work on the big one but the small ones are everywhere. As i do not believe in chemicals i will tell you what i did to my zoas and i never had a prob again. Knock on wood it was like four months ago and i havent seen any yet.

You need a fresh water dip. Make sure the water in the same temp as the tank water.

take your zoas out and put them in the water for ten-fifteen minutes total

after about five minutes i would turn the zoas unside down and shake them good. the nudies will start to fall off then put them in clean water and do it again. do this three times till you see non fall off of the zoas anymore. And there will be a lot. tryto do it in a clear bowl so you can really see those buggers.

now if you feel it is nessisary the life cycle of these is two weeks so eggs could still hatch so you should repeat this once a week for three weeks.

Also if you see eggs on the polyps either scrape them off or remove the polyp.

dont worry zoas are from shallow water and will have to deal with getting rained on from time to time during low tide. they will be fine within two days of thier dip.

good luck and tell me how it went
