and my levels according to seachem tests are pretty good. mag could be higher but it aint bad.

so do 30 gallons once a week? or 15 once a week?

What do you mean by pretty good? There can be a big difference of opinions. The difference between completely undetectable and slight amounts like .03 is an extreme difference. It only means that brand test doesn't detect it and even with the best ones there are still high levels of organic phosphates present, just undetectable inorganic levels. And to be honest I've never heard seachem tests being listed when opinions of "good" test kits are named especially in the phosphate arena. Even the good Salifert test kits are listed down lower in the hierachy for phosphate although that is probably the best brand to use unless you get up closer to the 100 buck level.

I would aim for 10-15% per week and/or 35% monthly on the water changes.

But browning is usually due to inadequate light and high nutrients. Bleaching from high light and low nutrients. At least in the short terms.

Get good PO4 and NO3 test such as Deltec PO4 or LaMotte NO3 test. Make sure your tank water is absolutely low (Undetectable) on both. Then you play the waiting game. If your corals are still dark, you can try increase the lighting to 250W and feed some Amino Acid and bateria food.
