How to host?

Any suggestions on how to get a pair of black ocellaris to host in a blue haddoni? The pair did 2 years ago, but then one of the two clowns died.
The newer replacement gets along, but they would rather hang out in the sinularia or frogspawn. This pair has been together for over a year.

You could try putting a picture of clownfish hosting a nem next to the tank. I've heard that works, but whatever you do, they still might not host it.

Let them do what they want. My Black Ocellaris pair are wild and it took them 2 weeks before they realized there was a 10" RBTA in a 30" tank.

I've tried EVERYTHING; putting pictures on the tank, catching and them releasing the clowns literally into the nem (in my hands), etc. Mine still wont host. My nem is a BTA, and my clowns are CB (not sure about yours). Also, the only thing that I noticed worked slightly was I took out the nem and the clwosn and put them in a bucket together. They clowns did go into the nem, but as soon as I put them back into the tank they ignored it like a one night stand. Perhaps you gould get one of those breeders boxes that are clear and hang on the inside of the tank and try what I did with the bucket, if the nem is small enough? I know carpets and get unbelivably huge. That way the nem will still have its water and lighting and be less stressed. Leave them in there for a couple days and then release them and see what happens?

If they like the frogspawn that's where they will stay. You might be lucky and they move to the anemone but they may not. Only time will tell. You can't force them to do anything. Sometimes a threat will cause the clowns to move into the anemone the same way a threat will cause some schooling fishes like chromis to form a shoal when they may not have normally done so in a tank. So add a scary fish; okay don't actually do this. If you remove the corals they like, you might find they take to the anemone instead. I had a pair of ocellaris that preferred a hammer coral no matter how many nor which types of anemone were added. It was just the way it was.

I've pretty much resigned myself to this. I have thought about putting them in my other tank and introducing a new pair.
