How to ID at LSF

I was at the LSF the other day and saw some clowns that I wanted, but I didn't know what they were. How can you tell the difference between a true pelcula and a false one?

Sure, percs usually have black between the white stripes, along with their eyes look slightly different. it would be easiest if you read clownfish FAQ

fals percs have a black ring around the pupil making the whole eye look black, true percs dont have the ring.

Cool, is that it? I tried to read the Clownfish FAQ, but its so much info I start to skip thru stuff.

The husbandry of ocellaris and percula are similar enough that I wouldn't worry too much which one you get. You can always put the fish on hold and take a couple pics. The folks here are pretty good at IDing fish.
