How to increase PH level

What is the best way to increase PH levels. I tested my tank and it was a little low... 8.1

They say water changes will increase it but when I tested my saltwater for that I was going to use for the water change and it was at 8.0 so am I missing something?

Agreed. I've always thought that 8.0 to 8.2 was the range to target. I'm not sure how you supplement, but topping off with kalkwasser will increase ph, as will two part recipe 1 (which uses soda ash, or baked baking soda).

8.1 is perfectly fine. It's not worth chasing numbers over.

Agreed. In the winter, I'm happy if my tank is at 8.1
