how to keep heat down

I have a 12 gallon nano cube, it seems as though I have a heat problem. At night the tempeture goes up to around 83 degrees, all that is on is 2 powerheads circulating water. then during the day with the light and fan on the temp goes down to around 80. With possibly going with metal halide lighting, I know the tank is going to get hot fast. Any way to get around not adding a chiller? If the chiller is the only way to cool it down, anybody know a good place to get one? thanks for the help!

i use a pacific imports cl85 chiller. paid about 185$ for it. Worth every penny. Temp is constant 78 degrees.

If your temp is going up at night, your pumps + ambient room temp must be driving the increase. If you run your fan 24/7 and let your heater push the temp to its setting, you will resolve your problem.

My fan is timed with the lights during the winter and runs 24/7 during the summer. A water top off contends with the higher evaporation rate.

On the Pacific imports chiller, what pump do you have circulating the water? Also how do you have it plumbed in? Any pictures would be helpful too. Thanks!
