how to keep temp down?

i have a 12 gal AP and even with the lights off i can't keep it under 80 degrees. about 79-80.4 is where it stays depending on if the lights are on. it stays about 70 in the house and i just have the deluxe setup. any ideas of how to lower the temp without a chiller? thanks

80 is normal temp i run my tank at 80 constant

wow... that's actually pretty good - only 1* temperature swing and nothign over 81?? I'd take that in a hurry.

I had high temps in my AP at first... I replaced the stock pump with a maxijet 900 which helped a little, but leaving the feeding hatch open made a big difference.
