how to keep the 6000 from moving

I just bought and installed 2 6000 using the magnet mounts and i noticed the next morning that the power heads changed there swing angle(instead of facing toward the center of the tank like i set it, one moved a couple inches and the other about an inch).

Again, i am referring to the pivot motion and not the magnet itself.

Any thing to do about it?

Thanks

Check that the teeth are firmly meshed on the two pieces. Sometimes at extreme angles it may be necessary to add a large nylon screw and nut from a hardware store like Home Depot. If you continue to have trouble let me know, I have a make shift solution and we are working on a holder with a firmer grip for the future. This problem came up after the magnet holders because th holder has some play as space was allowed to make removal easier if coralline grew over the pieces.

Ok, i will try the nylon screw 1st. Only concern is that if i want to remove the screw down the road that i wont be able to get it off.

Out of curiousity, what is the other idea?

Thanks again,

The sscrew would come off, it will go through the hole and to a nut on the other end. I cam up with installing a silicon hose in the hole and threading a screw into this. The factory decided to redo the teeth to be larger but this change will take a while.
