Is there anyway to kill or remove mushrooms m
whenever and of my sps touch this mushroom that's stuck to a huge rock it wins ....is there any lps or any tricks to off the mushroom?

Is there any other ways beside kalk paste damn I hate mushrooms l guess I can get some kalk paste tomrow

I had a rhodactis problem that i solved with injecting them with vinegar.

Pros: oh how they died!
Cons: Vinegar is a carbon source, need to be aware of that.
oh how it smelled bad!
also, syringe and needle can be hard to come by.

I use a small flat-head screwdriver to scrape them off at the base. I scrape the base rock area they were on very well since any tissue left over will eventually regrow a 'shroom.

They are a problem, all I do is keep them from touching the SPS. I use needle nose pliers to pull them off rocks. I have used a scrub brush, acid, fresh water and a knife to try to remove them from rocks while out of the water. They tend to not like High flow or bright areas. I am just to the point where I try to control them. Eradicating them at this point seems impossible. Good luck, hope you can find a way to keep them in check.

slice the disc off with a razor blade. then either cover the remnants with kalk paste or 2 part putty that you mount frags with.

At the risk of getting killed here, might I suggest THIS:

Yeah, I know it's expensive and has a gimmicky feel to it but I also know the darn thing works IF you're diligent and not looking for an overnight fix. To really kill a 'shroom, you have to basically take out the entire thing as the smallest viable piece left behind will regenerate in very short order. Well, this machine will do that, though it may take more than one 'application', and because you control it, you can work in the midst of entire SPS colonies without any harm to the coral. Not always a given with kalk solutions and the like.

If you belong to a reef club, maybe a few of you can go in together as a way of cutting costs. But again, when properly handled, the thing does work; actually better for 'shrooms than aiptasia or majanoes because they can't withdraw and hide themselves away. Obviously, I'm happy with mine, which I purchased for the exact same reason and no, I don't get a cut.

If you scrape or cut them off, then a bit of kalk paste will finish off the left-behinds. This is the best method IME.
