how to kill spoinid worms

I picked up a copperband butterfly . He ate almost all the feather dusters and worms. In leds than a week. But do your research. And just remember no two fish are exactly the same.

Prazi-pro would kill just the worms and de-worm your fish at the same time (assuming that they haven't already been de-wormed in qt). I have heard a lot on this forum that it is relatively reef safe. Maybe someone that has added Prazi-pro to a reef can chime in? I have only done it in quarantine with fish only.

the spinoid worm is harmless filter feeders. If you have some bothering your brain coral you can do a coral dip. there are different methods; you can use lugol's, revive, melafix, hydrogen peroxide. for example:

Posts: 11 Lugol's Solution. 40 drops per gallon. I put my new specimens in for 10 minutes, then flip over and gently twist for about 30 seconds. Do it in a white bucket and you'll see what falls out.

do a search on coral dip

To reduce the population of spinoid worm, add More cuc like blue legs hermit crab and/or reduce feeding. the more you feed the more worm you'll have.

Bare in mind these fish is very hard to acclimate. But like he says do your research.

dosed prazi pro twice in my 200 gallon reef tank to remove flukes... not any issues with my copperband OR any of my corals... ( mostly SPS )
