how to make an rbta like a plate

mine always squeezes tentacles outa a rock crevice. but i saw in many posts rbta's just show a plate shape with base fully exposed.

BTA's are weird, they will act accordingly. Dont plan on making your nem do anything, depending on conditions and the specific animal, it may change how it acts.

my rbta's r fairly well behaved. one of my ritteri wondered and wondered actually and finally ended up in slices goin into a powerhead

they just never get outa rock crevices

any tricks?

how long have your bta been in the tank? or if you changed your lights recently how long ago was that? I had a bta that did that for like a whole month before it comes out into the open.
