How to make clowns host?

Hi guys,

I have a 20g long and 2 clowns. I just recently bought a pom pom crab, and would like to make the clowns host the anemones, one in each. How would I do it? I've seen the picture method, any other ideas? I tried holding the crab and chasing the clowns around with it so that they saw it, but I think the crab got mad...

Going to assume that this is a real question....


First clowns don't host, but are hosted.

Second, the anemones that are on a pom pom crab aren't hosting anemone, let alone big enough.

Holding the crab and chasing the clowns with it is a very bad idea. That is a good way to injure/stress/kill both the crab and the clowns.

I'm not sure if this is a joke, but yeah the anemones on the pom pom crab are no where near large enough for the clownfish to utilize as a host

lol, sorry not a serious post.

I've been sitting in a hospital room for 8 days reading reefing boards, and it's amazing how many "How to make my clowns host XXX" or "How long till my clown hosts XXX" or "What does your clown host" questions there are.

I did just get a pom pom crab, and the idea made me laugh. So out of complete and utter boredom I thought this would make a funny post. I just wanted to jump in before any flame fests start, i've been around forums long enough to know how that goes. :beer:
