How to make phytoplankton

John was talking about making your own phytoplankton today .I want some details on how to do this and the equipment needed.Maybe a link or some photos on how to do this .
 
LOL, when i looked at that the first thing that hit my head was "I see it now, the cops see the bright lights knock on the door to check it out. I open the door and there that sits." HEHE, that will be an interesting conversation while they take the cuffs off.
 
I have been keeping phytoplankton for many years now. One important thing about culturing phyto is to sterilize the culture bottles with hot water before each use. Also wash your hands before you handle the culture. You can contaminate the culture with bacteria, rotifers and other microorganisms that can crash your culture.

Bear in mind that most corals do not eat phytoplankton. You are feeding copepods and other filter feeders that can in turn feed your corals.
