Whats the recommended way of mounting the transformer? Right now they are just sitting on the plywood bottom of the stand (sump isn't in the stand and there is no humidity (open back and top)

They get pretty hot.. Would it help if I mounted them to something through the hole in the center?

Edit- The flow from these things rock.. doesn't even compare to any powerhead I've had before. Tunze is awesome

Edit 2- I need a suggestion on where to place my Tunzes (2 6100's). Its a 6'x2'x2' 180g.. SPS/LPS/zoos.

The rockwork is going to be similar to this (top down):

Right now I have one in the back left corner pointing to the opposite corner. The second one is on the right side panel pointing across to the other side. Should I move the second one to the other corner?

It really depends how high the rock structures are, as long as the water is circulating through the entire tank unobstructed, the positioning is fine.

The transformers should get warm, about 50C or 120F. It should feel like a heating pad or electric blanket, not so hot it is uncomfortable to hold it. It is potted and therefore water resistant so mounting it is optional .
