How to mount Vantech Fans - Screws???

well my aquapod is apart, and the screws are too short in the old fan, and i cant find screws long enough that are thin enough. Im pretty sure they would be #4 1 1/2 inches, but i could only find #6 1 1/2 inches, i am ready to scream.

any other mounting options would be helpful.

i got my 1 1/2" screws from walmart for my vantec fans.

couldn't you just use a touch of silicon

Yeah, i think i might go with the silicon, just so i can remove it if i choose, good idea.

i took HAMsmiths idea in another thread and chose to overdrill the screw holes on the actual fan, drilling down around halway, allowing the whole screw to fit inside, worked great, alot easier and faster then going to every hardware store in my area.
