How to move a BTA?

Split again and one is heading for my TT... Any tricks out there? Last time it split, I covered one with a rock and got it to jump on the smaller rock; this time they aren't falling for it... Tried pealing off with my finger... (not good)

Thx,

Matt

Place a powerhead at them and they will start walking. Ice cube on foot, or peel them off. Be very careful not to injure the foot of the anemone

I am not sure about tt but i have in the past used euphillia to actually keep my rose in place. the sting of euphillia is nasty and my rose stays away. So not sure if tt has the sting but if it does your fine.

Thx guys! I'm going to give the ice cube a shot to take out the new clone. I don't really have another spot to move the original so I'll see how it goes with the torch, and put a pump in front of it if it looks like it starts to harm it.

This was the 2nd time the BTO split in the 14 months or so I had it. I bought it originally for our clowns to host in... After over a year of waiting, one started hosting a couple days ago. He slept in the BTO for the first time last night. Totally cool to watch for the first time... :)

you can try to "make a home" for it with the rubble trick...

remember, BTA's like to be low in the tank (usually) and want a good anchor where there isnt too much flow...

be careful with the euphillia trick, BTA's sting back...

good luck! glad your clown finally made the plunge..it really is enjoyable watching that symbiotic relationship. I actually just posted a vid in general discussion last night of my clarki's playing in their BTA...
