how to move a BTA

hi guys,, i need to do some rock work on my tank but i have a 8" large BTA thats right in my way. i refuse to scrape him off the glass(ouch) will directing a powerhear at him cause him to move? know any tricks?

A powerhead could work, if it is on the glass ice cubes could work also. Peeling it off the glass is not very difficult. It is actually pretty easy if you go slow.

mmm ice cubes huh? hold the ice on the bta or on the outside of the glass?

Since it is on the glass, I'd try outside first, it may take a while and be a bit messy. If that fails I touch it directly to an edge of the foot. You will go through many in 80 degree water. Good Luck : )

how do i know if i am hurting the foot?

You won't hurt it, it will move away from the cold. It won't stay and let your freeze it.

Ice cubes don't work, try putting a rock on him slightly (don't worry, he will be fine). Or try the powerhead approach.

Keep in mind, ice cubes melt in 80 water pretty quick

TAKE A CREDIT CARD AN GO UP UMDER THE FOOT. THAT WORKS GREAT AN IT WONT HURT HIM.
