How to pair a clown

Just picked up an Ocellaris yesterday. He's tiny/juvenile. I've read some of the info on this site, and it appears as though it's possible to pair if I picked one up that is larger. Any advice on this would be helpful. The clown fish looks lonely, and it would be great to get a pair to host in my anemone which is huge.

Thanks!

just go and purchase another clown bigger/or smaller than the one you have. they will pair up just fine.

I wanted a pair as well for my ocellaris, so i went out and purchased a black one who is larger, She turned into a female, and now their a pair

its that easy no joke
i would say go get another juvenile that is from the same tank if possible the trick is get one that is really bigger not just a tiny bit bigger it helps

Just curious while this thread is going, if a clown is in the tank for months already it would turn female right, and I read they can't go back to males? So for me should I get a small one?

Ok, because I found a real small one yesterday in a store, is it best to put them in the 125 at the same time or can I put the small clown in the 46 now? The 125 will be in next week.

you can try it now buy a specimin container and drill some holes in it them put the new fish in it and it can get used to the old one while it is protected
