How to plant/root Mangrove Pods?

Hi, I ordered mangroves- thought I'd get roots and leaves, but didn't. Now I don't know what to do. Not sure I've got the right end in the water or anything (Is is pointy side up, or down??)

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

pointy side up, i put mine in some substrate to stimulate root growth, i keep mine 1/2 to 2/3s above water. once they start to root i rubber band them to a post like a small piece of bamboo, or a plastic tomato pole untill the roots hit the sand and start to become stable. when they can stand on their own i remove the post. i mist mine every other day with ro water when the leaf growth starts. i find the more mine get misted and the more salt removed from them the better they grow. hope this helps.
