how to position a clam on sand ?

my clam is moving all around the sand. how can i stop it ?

My clam just moved around until he found a spot he liked. Since he found that spot he has not moved at all.

what type of lights do you have and what type of clam is it? he's gonna move until he finds a place he likes.

i have a deresa giant with 250W of MH 14K.

i think your just gonna have to wait and let him decide. if you move him he will just move again. there is something he doesn't like about where you have him. ( light, flow, ....... )

surely he's stopped moving by now ?

i put a flat rock under the clam last night and it didn't move since. i think it was just trying to find a stable base.
