How to QT mandarins and sleeper gobies?

Mandarins and sleeper gobies need pods and other live organisms that only live in our reef tanks. So how can I QT one of these fish so I don't get any diseases in my tank and able to keep them alive? Assuming they won't take prepared foods. Thanks.

I would also like to know if any 'damage' will occur when you QT wrasses that like to sleep in a sand bed. Will they still find a place to nap with a couple of plastic decorations and hiding spots?
