How to raise nitrates?

my sps colors seem very faded, just tested my water and there is 0 nitrates using both api and salifert test kits. Everything else tested great. wondering if increasing my nitrates will bring back some of the faded dull colors. growth is great just wanted to see about increasing color. what is the best way to increase nitrates safely? feed more, less frequent h2o changes, or ???

Sodium nitrate would be fine.

Amino Acids. The zeovit aminos work well and are very very concentrated.

wouldnt adding too much food raise phosphates as well, and mess with water quality.
i have heard mixed reviews with amino acids. is one kind better than the other. the two i have been looking at are zeo and brightwell. both the same?

I assume you are carbon dosing. If so the carbon would take up the extra p04. And the food is meant more for the fish, the fish waste will help add the n03.
