Im thinking about pulling out my acro colonies to treat in interceptor as a precaution. I don't want the crabs to die. Whats the best way to remove them without harming them. Thanks guys
Get a toothpic or a long wooden bbq skewer and coax them to the side them fling them out. The tweezers will do damage sometimes imo if it's a real tight colony. HTH.
I like to force them out to the bottom of the coral with tweezers instead of grabbing them and breaking off their claws. That way when they are at the bottom, you just knock them off into the tank.

i was successful at pulling them out by chasing them to the side with a toothpick and pulling them off with tweezers. Unfortunately I accidently Ripped off the big arm of one of the crabs that was being stubborn. Will the arm grow back?
