How to remove brown polyps

Hi Everyone.

I have a problem in my tank where some brown polyps have spread onto a portion of my rock structure and are starting to annoy and damage some sps. I can probably move the corals this time round because they are still quite small but I would still like to get rid of those brown polyps as they cover a large surface of rock that I need to use for other coral. These polyps were given to me just after the cycling of the tank. I never really wanted them and would now like to get rid of them. They have grown onto the main structure of my tank which a bunch of medium size rock that has been cemented into one large rock.

Please could you assist in methods of getting rid of these polyps safely (for me and for the inhabitants of the tank).

- Can I cut them in the tank )impossible to remove the affected rock without breaking up the complete structure)
- Is it possible to just cut a few a day without affecting the tank ?
- are there better methods that can be used "in tank"

Thanks
Vic

I have the same issue, I am currenty using kalk past/ slurry and cover a patch. Not sure how bad your tank is, but only do a small patch at a time and run carbon as there are very toxic.
